Leanne's House Block of the Month quilt pattern is a beautiful combination of stitchery and applique. This is a great project for using up your scraps, as each of the ten parts is made up of mini blocks. The designer has used needleturn appliqué to complete her quilt, but the blanket stitch method can be used.
